Being organic and biodynamic means more to us than just being
chemically free. It's about the way your food is grown and handled
with our entire ecosystem being integrated and linked. Soil.
Plants. Animals. Food. People. Environment. Everything is connected
to each other and is a part of the greater whole.

Biodynamic farming goes beyond that of organic. It uses composts
made from herbs, such as chamomile and valerian. Based on Rudolf
Steiner's philosophy, it also takes into account the moon's cycle
and other cosmic influences. Foods grown biodynamically are said to
be in alignment with the entire universe.
All teas in the Hampstead Tea range carry the Demeter logo,
guaranteeing that they have been biodynamically grown. Hampstead
Tea's partner estate, Makaibari was the first biodynamic tea estate
in the world - that's some great achievement!
