Eat to your Health
Tinned fish is a healthy source of protein with all essential amino acids. Oily fish are rich in Omega 3 - fatty acids - with a high concentration of vitamins E, B1, B2, B12, A, D and Niacin as well as being a good source for many important minerals, such as phosphorus, fluoride, calcium, potassium and magnesium.
The use of Organic Cold Pressed Oils
Cold pressed oils are produced using traditional methods, which retain the oil's nutritional value and flavour. Cold pressed sunflowe oil is rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E, while olive oul is rich in mono-unsaturated fats and helps reguate cholesterol levels.
Industrial ouls are chemically treated and heated to high temperatures, which cnverts good fats to harmful trans-fats and destroys much of the flavour also.
Mercury, Dioxins and Histamine
First Ray has independent testing done in Australia for Histamine levels and also Mercury.
Fish 4 Ever does their own independent testing also.
Australia's leading health research body, the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), suggests that Australians should eat more fish. This is because fish is low in fat, high in protein and an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids. Researchers worldwide have discovered that eating fish regularly - one or two serves weekly - may reduce the risk of diseases ranging from childhood asthma to prostate cancer.
